Wherein the Queen of Air and Darkness lurches another step into the 21st century (as if the whole twitter thing wasn't vapour inducing enough) — gazing upon her electronic navel as so many others are doing with their own virtual umbilici (it being the rage and all). So far the lint seems benign enough.

In these latter days so many people write blogs, although not all of them should. The notion of a personal blog faintly disturbs my admittedly off-centre sensibilities, I also remind myself that there are opinions to voice, paradigms to be challenged, dragons to be tickled, and feathers to ruffle. The prospect of the glorious opportunities for tilting at windmills that present themselves may prove irresistible.

The great and guiding star of my life has always been Tarot, so there will an awful lot of that (the blog title should be a dead giveaway – it’s not “Palmistry Pundit” or “Organic Chemistry Pundit,” or anything like that). However, since one can’t drop a hat in my vicinity without my forming an opinion about it, I feel it incumbent to advise any readers to be prepared for the occasional foray off the Royal Road.
